How C&M Carpets Handles Website Enquiries

Last reviewed: 4 August 2026.

This policy explains how information submitted through the C&M Carpets website may be used when you make an enquiry, request a quote or book a free measure.

Who Is Responsible for Your Information

C & M Carpets London Limited (company number 11486747) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Its registered office is 23 North Mall, Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, London N9 0EQ.

Information Collected

The website may collect your name, phone number, email address, enquiry details, booking details and any message you send through the contact or quick help forms. Both a phone number and an email address are required when a website form is submitted.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to reply to enquiries, arrange free measures, provide quotes, manage appointments and follow up about flooring services. If you separately choose to receive offers and updates, C&M also uses your email address to send occasional marketing emails. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you automatically.

Legal Basis

Before this website goes live, C&M Carpets must confirm which legal bases apply to each real use of enquiry and booking information. Depending on why information is processed, these may include taking steps requested before a contract and legitimate interests, but this must be checked against the business's actual procedures. Optional embedded tools only load when you choose to accept the relevant optional category.

Third-Party Services

Brevo processes website enquiries, sends the notification to C&M and records newsletter choices where consent is given. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form requests, including a Turnstile security check used to prevent automated spam, before they are sent securely to Brevo. Microsoft Bookings loads automatically on the dedicated booking page and processes appointment details if a visitor completes a booking. Google Maps and Featurable are optional embedded services and only load after the relevant choice is accepted. These providers act under their own terms and privacy information.

Keeping Information

Website enquiries are normally kept for no longer than 30 days unless the enquiry is still active, becomes part of a customer job or must be kept for a legal reason. Corresponding notification emails are scheduled for deletion after this period.

Newsletter consent records are kept while you remain subscribed so C&M can show when and how consent was given. If you unsubscribe, Brevo may retain the minimum suppression record needed to ensure that marketing emails are not sent again.

Appointment information is processed through Microsoft Bookings and kept only as needed to arrange and manage the appointment. Microsoft may retain limited information under its own terms and legal obligations. Records needed for completed work, invoices, warranties or disputes may be kept separately for longer where necessary.

Your Choices

You can ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for corrections or request deletion where legally appropriate.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a C&M marketing email or by using this Brevo unsubscribe form. Withdrawing consent does not affect an enquiry or booking you have already made.

You can also ask C&M to restrict or stop certain processing where applicable, and you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. C&M should first be given the opportunity to investigate and respond to a concern.

Contact
